In short
- We collect what the app needs: your account, your pet’s profile and records, and permissions you grant.

1. Who we are
House of Dexter (“we”, “us”) operates the House of Dexter mobile and web applications and the website at https://ai.houseofdexter.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information you share with us when you use our services.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone number, role (pet parent or veterinarian), and authentication credentials.
- Pet profile data: name, species, breed, age, birthday, weight, gender, allergies, microchip number and avatar.
- Health and care data: vaccination history, prescriptions, lab reports, visit notes, reminders and uploaded documents or photos you choose to add.
- Device permissions: camera, photo gallery, microphone, notifications and storage — only when you grant them and only for the feature you triggered (e.g. uploading a vaccine card or joining a video consult).
- Technical data: device model, OS version, app version, IP address, crash logs and basic analytics needed to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use your data
- To provide the core service: digital pet records, reminders, vet teleconsultation and partner-store QR authentication.
- To send the notifications you opt in to (reminders, appointments, consult invites).
- To improve reliability and prevent abuse.
- To respond to support requests.
4. AI processing
When you use Dexter AI we send your message and the relevant pet context (name, species, breed, age, allergies, vaccines, reminders) to our configured AI provider through the House of Dexter backend. We do not sell this data. Dexter AI provides general guidance only and is not a veterinarian.
5. Sharing
We share data only: (a) with veterinarians or partner businesses you explicitly grant access to via QR or in-app consent; (b) with infrastructure providers (hosting, video, analytics) under contract; (c) when required by law.
6. Storage and security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. AI provider credentials are managed server-side and are not requested from users in the app. You can delete pets, records and reminders at any time from the app. Account deletion is available on request to support@houseofdexter.com. 7. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13.
8. Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent and object to processing. Contact support@houseofdexter.com.
9. Changes
We will notify users in-app of material changes. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

This section covers the marketing website only. With your permission, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see which pages are viewed, which buttons are clicked, how far people scroll, and which campaign or site sent you here. We do not collect pet or health data through website analytics, and nothing loads until you choose Accept. If your browser sends Do Not Track, we never load analytics or show the consent banner. If you choose Decline, nothing is loaded. To change your choice, clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will appear again.
