We want everyone to be able to use houseofdexter.com, the Dexter app and HoD Business, including people with disabilities.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That includes readable text and colour contrast, keyboard access, labels for screen readers, captions or text alternatives for images and video, and layouts that work when text is enlarged or the screen is small.
Where we are
We test with keyboard navigation, screen readers and automated checks, but we haven't yet had an independent audit, and some parts may not fully meet the standard. Known gaps:
- some animated and 3D sections of the website are decorative and may be hard to follow; the same information is available as text;
- some charts and document previews in the apps may not be fully described for screen readers.
Tell us about a problem
If something is hard to use, email support@houseofdexter.com with "Accessibility" in the subject and tell us the page or screen and what happened. We'll reply within 5 working days and, where we can, give you the information in another way.
